N3.7 — Non-Virtual Networking: Recovering Communication & Intimacy

Numbers 6:25; Acts 2:42-47; Revelation 2:20

Electronic communication has come a long way
from the groundbreaking advancement… the telephone!
Today this is viewed as quaint, affectionally known as a “landline.”

The evolution of these communications has happened at a blistering speed with advancements quickly becoming obsolete. Remember how quickly we moved from one to another? The answering machine, pagers, FAX machines, cell phones, walkie-talkie phones or push to talk, voice mail, emailing, instant messaging/chat, texting, picture messaging, Smart phones, Blogging, Facebooking, Tweeting, YouTube streaming video, and digital audio messaging.

What are the advantages and liabilities of these new ways to get connected?
As good as they may be, God designed something richer, fuller and more satisfying.

How can we truly restore communication and intimacy?
