Home Improvement 7: Dealing with Family Loss

Home Improvement2

Psalm 6:3, 6; Colossians 3:1-2; Hebrews 6:19-20

Where is God when it hurts?
This is a common struggle. People feel abandoned when
marriages fall apart, parents abandon children,
and someone well loved passes away.

Often this struggle causes us to push away
the only one who can bring comfort and wisdom–God.
We can question His wisdom, His purposes and His power.

In this week’s message we will look at the
effects of loss on the various members of the family.
We will also attempt to understand how grief works
and how to cope or help others to cope with loss.
