SAY WHAT?! Learning How to Talk with Each Other

Ephesians 4:29 & 5:4; Colossians 4:6; James 1:19-21

Often we are shocked at how someone speaks to us.
Or we get ourselves into trouble with something we say.
How do we overcome this?
When we are dysfunctional, the temptation is to point to others and say,
“Hey, they do it too!” But Jesus calls us to be different from everyone else.
We saw in the message on living without masks that there were
three steps to living different — putting off the Old Self,
being made new in our attitudes, and putting on the New Self.
What things are we to put off in our speech?
How does our thinking need to be changed so that we care to
make a change in what we are doing?
What things are we to put on so that our speech
is life-giving rather than destructive?
Discover these things in this week’s message…
