FAQ
How is worship effected by COVID-19?
We are gathering in person currently. We require social distancing in all common indoor areas—lobby and sanctuary. The size of our sanctuary allows us to accomplish this.
While masks are not currently required, we have one area of the sanctuary set aside for those who wear masks and wish to be surrounded only by others who also wear masks. As an extra precaution, use the South side door (by the cemetery) so avoid traffic in the main lobby.
Where should I park?
Use either the East or West paved parking lot accessed from separate driveways off of Hwy 224. For children’s Sunday School, the West lot provides best access.
What entrance should I use?
Sunday School for children up to age twelve is located in the building immediately adjacent to the church on the upper level; use the North facing, main entrance.
Adult Sunday school classes are inside the church, lower level. The two West entrances (rear of the sanctuary) are main entrances for members and guests. The North entrance has a handicap ramp and elevator.
When should I arrive for the worship hour?
We gather between 9:45 and 10 am. Ushers will greet you in the West lobby and provide a bulletin of current information about the service and other church events and concerns.
Do you provide child care during the worship hour?
Yes. Children join the worship hour for about 20 minutes and are excused to go to Children’s Church prior to the morning message.
What should I wear?
We’re here to worship, not worry about the clothes we wear. You will see everything from casual jeans and t-shirts to something you might wear in a business office.
What is your worship style?
It is a blend of contemporary and traditional. Worship is led by a group of musicians—piano, guitar, organ and vocals. The teaching/sermon part of the service is always a Bible based message designed to help those who hear to live their best Christian life. Pastor Chris’ message and Biblical references are direct and easy to understand.
