Who We Are
St. Luke is an historic, Biblically focused church with firm roots in our community. We serve families in Western Lafayette County and beyond from our 20-acre campus and facilities in Wellington, Missouri.
Where We Are Located
St. Luke is located just 30 miles East of Downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
• From East or West on Hwy 24, turn N onto Hwy 131 at the turnabout, 1 mile North, then 1 mile West on Bus Hwy 224. Church is on the left.
• From I-70 East or West, exit at Odessa, Exit # 37, North about 8 miles into Wellington, then West on Bus Hwy 224, 1 mile.
What We Believe
St. Luke is a member of the EFCA denomination of churches. We accept the EFCA Statement of Faith. More about the EFCA denomination.
Pastor
Chris Middleton has been our Sr. Pastor at St. Luke since June of 2017. He and his wife and two sons are active in our community and school. Pastor Chris serves as an EMT as part of our local fire & ambulance department.
St. Luke Leadership
St. Luke is organized through two leadership boards. The Church Council handles the legal, financial, and operational obligations of St. Luke. Current President, Don Borgman. The Spiritual Council ministers to the spiritual needs of the congregation along with the pastor including prayer, care, biblical teaching and accountability and support of the Sr. Pastor. Current Chairman, Robert Riesmeyer.
